We are partnered with NASM, ISSA, and Duke Institute of Fitness and Sport to offer a hybrid certification program where you will be able to receive study materials and hands on clinical experience to prepare you for your certification exam. This hands on experience will teach you everything you need to know in order to confidently work with clients.

  • Receive online study materials and recorded lectures

  • 2 Day in person clinical at the Hive Gym in Jersey city

WHAT IS THE COST?

  • The total cost for this course is $1,500 $1,000 (33% off)

  • This includes the self study education materials, the in person clinical experience, and the NASM CPT exam.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

  • The self study portion takes anywhere between 4 week to 6 months. The average being 2-3 months of consistent studying.

  • The In person clinical experience is a 2 day weekend course - 7hrs each day.

  • The NASM has a 180 access period to take the accredited exam.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PASS?

  • NASM/ISSA Certification allows you to train clients professionally.

  • May qualify for an internship or part time position with Genesis Training!

  • Opens the door to other certifications and specialties.

Fitness Specialist

Apply to join one of the best fitness teams in the tri-state area. Become a per diem/part-time personal trainer and train in-person, virtually, and/or build online workout programs. We also hire fitness specialists for nutrition programming, group classes, physical therapy, and sports training. Learn from other professionals and work within a team setting. Create your own training schedule, work flexible hours, and make an impact. We offer all kinds of fitness and wellness services and we will market your special skillset and personality.

  • Who qualifies?: Anyone with a nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ASCM, ISSA, etc) in any fitness specialty. 

  • Hours: Part-Time/Per Diem, Flexible

  • Pay Rate: $35-45/hour to start, up to $65/hr based on a volume-based compensation structure

  • Location: Hudson County, train out of our private facility and/or travel directly to clients

  • Benefits: We pay for your Citibike Membership, referral bonuses, discounts on supplements/nutrition products, and let Genesis Training find you the right clients.
