FAQs
We're here to answer your questions
Personal Training
-
Yes, we do! We have trainers who are well-experienced in training the youth population, most commonly to enhance performance in sports and school PE class, as well as for overall health as they get older. We are advocates of starting training from a young age to stay well-rounded and decrease risk of injuries through sports or other life stressors.
-
All of our training packages come with our private fitness app. This app allows your assigned trainer to keep you accountable outside of the gym by programming a routine for you to do when not with your trainer. You may also log your meals and check off habits/goals as they pertain to your fitness goals.
-
Yes, our coaches are trained to modify movements as needed in order to make sure you are productive throughout your session without further aggravating any issues that you are experiencing.
The best is to book a discovery call with us to learn more and see if any of our services are a good fit for you.
If it is an issue where exercise is contraindicated, please refer to your doctor for medical clearance. We also have a Doctor of Physical Therapy on staff who can give you more assistance - check her out here.
General Facility Info
-
Personal training is our primary service, but we offer a variety of services from rent-a-rack (reserving a space to work out yourself) to physical therapy to group classes, and everything in between. Our goal is to provide a one-stop-shop for your fitness and wellness needs. Check out our “Services” tab above for specific details about each service.
-
We are open daily from 5am-10pm. It is a private facility, so the door will be locked at all times unless you have an access code for a gym time that you book for or have a trainer on staff that you are working with.
-
This is all dependent on your availability - we will pair you with one of our trainers on staff based on that, amongst other things.
-
For safety reasons, minors are required to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Our facility is a self-service gym, so there may not be staff on-site when people rent the gym. If a minor is present, he/she is likely a client of a trainer or a guest of a parent who is training.
-
We do not have showers at our facility; However, we do have private bathrooms available for use.
-
Yes, we do have lockers available to store your belongings. Clients will need to bring their own lock to secure their locker.
-
This is dependent on many factors, however here are the main differences:
Personal training allows for an individualized approach where your assigned coach will guide you through a program based on your current fitness levels and goals. On the other hand, group classes also allow for a tailored approach with no more than 6-8 participants per class, so instructors can be more hands on with each participant during. However, group classes are more general to the type of class that is being taught. Both are very strong options depending on your current needs.
Rent-A-Rack
-
No, you do not have to be a member to book a rent-a-rack session.
-
Yes! You may interchange between the two locations.
-

Physical Therapy
-
Unlike traditional physical therapy, which may emphasize more passive treatments (heat, ice, electrical stimulation, etc.), we focus more on building strength and performance by keeping you ACTIVELY involved to optimize movement patterns that support long-term health and recovery.
-
Anyone who is motivated to get better from acute or chronic injuries, be preventative of future injuries, and anyone who is willing to learn more about themselves and what they can achieve.
-
Imagine coming to physical therapy to do the same cookie-cutter exercises over and over, have a treatment plan that is tunnel-visioned on the exact area that is injured, and encourage you to milk all the visits you can out of your insurance. This is the exact opposite of our mission - we want to stay away from being limited in what we can do by insurance companies. Our business model allows us to take a HOLISTIC approach, aka treat you as a WHOLE. We highly encourage our clients to get better in the least amount of necessary sessions. Everyone should graduate from PT at some point, and our goal is to have you do so sooner than later to avoid spending unnecessary time. HOWEVER, we DO accept HSA/FSA and provide superbills for clients with out-of-network benefits.
-
Your evaluation and follow-up sessions will all be 1-hour long. This is all one-on-one with your dedicated physical therapist. You will never work with someone who is unqualified for any portion of your sessions.
-
Your physical therapist will make a recommendation based on the initial evaluation. However, most of our clients report feeling better and moving better within 4-8 sessions.
-
This is a crucial time for us to look at the site of your symptoms and how it may relate to the rest of you. Our assessments pertain to the person as a whole. Within this first session, you will already learn more about yourself, discuss an exact plan with your PT of how to manage any symptoms and progress toward your goals, and take home exercises from the getgo.
