Hi hi! I'm Betty, the co-owner of Genesis Training and Head DPT of our exclusive partner, Gold-In Wellness. I graduated with my Bachelor's in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo in 2016 and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Stony Brook University in 2020.
Within my 10+ years of experience in the health and fitness realm, I have had the pleasure of working with very diverse clientele. From rehabilitating injuries to providing preventative care; working with pregnancy and post-partum clients to those in combat sports; and from working with geriatric athletes (yes, everyone is an athlete!) to young rising stars; my range of experiences has shaped my philosophy of Physical Therapy to emphasizing a well-rounded and dynamic approach to movement.
I believe that movement is infinite, meant to be explored, and align seamlessly with your daily lifestyle and athletic aspirations. Because of this, my style of interventions is very active, detail-oriented, and geared toward bridging the gap between where you are at to where you want to be.

Hi, my name is Delano Smalls. I have a Bachelor’s in Biology health sciences and I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. My passion for fitness started at a young age as I participated in a variety of different sports such as football and Martial arts. Now I bring that same dedication and passion that I needed to succeed in helping my clients on their fitness journeys.
My time working as a therapy aide has given me experience working with different populations of all ages with varying health conditions. I am a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer with 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. I earned a B.S. in Biomechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
I launched my fitness career while working overseas training both groups and individuals, ranging from fitness enthusiasts to national-level athletes to military personnel. I’ve successfully applied my diverse knowledge and skills as a StrongFirst Level II Kettlbell Instructor and USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach to develop integrated strength and conditioning programs that improve the athletic performance and overall health of my clients.
