    Join Genesis Training in preparing the next generation of athletes! We will be hosting a 3 week strength and conditioning program at Roberto Clemente Sports Complex in downtown Jersey City for children ages 8-13.

    These classes will focus on strength, coordination, agility, balance and sports specific motions. Whether you have a developing young athlete looking to gain a competitive edge for their upcoming sports season, or your child just wants a fun, supportive environment to stay active, this camp is a perfect fit!

  • Flexible Schedule

    Our summer camp registration includes 6 credits for your child to attend 6 of the 9 available scheduled classes. This provides flexibility for your child to stay active and accommodate your summer schedule.

    Additional sessions can be purchased if your child wants to attend more than 6 classes.

    30min Private Training Session

    In addition to the 6 classes, our summer camp bundle includes a 30 minute private training session with one of our strength and conditioning coaches at one of our private facilities (342 7th st or 392 Summit Ave, Jersey City).

    This private workout will provide your child an opportunity to receive individual private coaching to help them reach the next level.

Registration Steps

First step is to register for the 6 class bundle using the link below. Upon checkout through the Momence website or app, you will fill out your (Parent/Guardian) information. Once you have created an account in Momence, you will be able to add a child to your household. This is where you add the child(ren) who will be attending the camp.

Register

Once you are registered for the camp, you will receive an email to complete the registration forms. Please fill this out as soon as possible to ensure we have all the information necessary to work with your child.

Fill out Forms

Go on the Momence website or app and register your child for the classes they would like to attend. Keep in mind we will have 9 available classes hosted on Tues evening, Thursday evening, and Saturday morning. You can apply the 6 available credits to your bookings to reserve their spot!

Strength and Conditioning Classes will be held on Tuesdays at 6pm, Thursdays at 6pm, and Saturdays at 10am from July 7th - July 25th.

Headed by Austin, a certified Athletic Trainer and Strength Conditioning Coach, and Delano, a certified Strength Coach and former competitive athlete, designed this program to prepare young athletes aspiring to compete at a higher level and to provide a place for children to stay active and learn how to move their bodies. With both of their knowledge and experience working in the collegiate setting, Austin and Delano are excited to prepare and train the next generation of athletes. In this program, young athletes will be exposed to higher level training programs, proper form and strength development, and have the chance to learn how to take care of their bodies. This comprehensive program aims to provide a competitive advantage over their peers.

What if my child has a scheduling conflict with the sessions?

When you register for this camp, you will be able to select any 6 of the 9 available classes that are hosted between July 7th-25th. This gives you the flexibility to pick the classes you are available to attend to make the most out of this camp!


What if it rains on one of the scheduled training days?

As the weather can be unpredictable, our sessions will continue if it is light rain. But if there is significant rain, thunder, or lightning, we will reschedule the class to the week after the 3 week camp is supposed to end. Makeup classes will be held between 7/26 - 8/1.


Will my child be able to participate?

This camp is designed for any child between the ages of 8-13. Whether they are an athlete looking to level up their skills, a novice trying to get involved in physical activity, or someone who wants to stay in shape during their offseason, this is the perfect program. Our trainers will design the strength and conditioning workouts to fit the needs of all its participants and provide modifications for those who need it.


Can my child attend more than 6 sessions?

Yes! If you’d like to purchase additional classes you may do so through the Momence app. Your child will be able to drop into additional sessions. We will be able to provide you with a discount so the cost of the additional sessions is prorated to the rate that you paid for the others.
